Job Description

An IT Access Provisioning Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining the security and operational efficiency of any organization’s digital environment. At Career.zycto, we are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team in Dondo, Sofala Province, as a Part-Time IT Access Provisioning Clerk. This position is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of IT systems, an eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring authorized users have the correct level of access to critical applications and data. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our clients’ information assets by accurately setting up, modifying, and deactivating user accounts across various platforms, adhering strictly to established security policies and compliance regulations. You will collaborate closely with other IT team members and departmental heads to process access requests efficiently, troubleshoot basic access issues, and maintain comprehensive records of all provisioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT security, identity and access management, and IT service desk operations within a supportive and professional setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Process new user account creations, modifications, and deletions across various systems and applications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all access provisioning activities comply with established security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of user access rights, permissions, and audit trails.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic access-related issues and escalations.
  • Collaborate with IT support and other departments to fulfill access requests and resolve incidents.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews to ensure least privilege principles are consistently applied.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of access management processes and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding access-related queries.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using identity and access management (IAM) tools and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines consistently.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (6-12 months) in an IT support, helpdesk, or access provisioning role.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, local Mozambican regulations).
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems.
