Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth business analysis, gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders through various elicitation techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, etc.).
- Analyze and evaluate existing business processes and systems, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement and optimization.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive technical specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, quality assurance testers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Assist in the creation of test plans, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solutions meet specified business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to development and testing teams during implementation phases.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in business analysis and IT.
- Lead or participate in solution design discussions, providing insights into potential impacts and benefits.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proven experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques (e.g., BRD, FSD, User Stories, Use Cases).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating process flows, data flow diagrams, and mock-ups.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and requirements management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CBAP, CCBA, or other relevant business analysis certifications.
- Experience with specific industry domains relevant to Career.zycto's client base (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
- Familiarity with data modeling and database concepts.
- Experience working in a consulting environment or on multiple concurrent projects.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
