Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely on-site and remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to senior support staff when necessary.
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance across client infrastructures.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, including connectivity, Wi-Fi, and basic server issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various operating systems and applications.
  • Document all support activities, resolutions, and configurations meticulously within the ticketing system.
  • Provide user training and guidance on IT best practices, new software implementations, and security awareness.
  • Ensure strict adherence to IT policies, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.
  • Travel to various client locations within Al Barsha 2 and surrounding Dubai areas as required, often with short notice.
  • Manage IT inventory and assets, ensuring accurate records and lifecycle management.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 1.5 years) in IT technical support, field service, or a similar hands-on role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite (365 applications).
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting).
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and component replacement for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve software application issues across a diverse range of business tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric and patient approach.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively with flexible scheduling.
  • Valid UAE driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Microsoft 365 administration, Azure basics).
  • Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) principles and basic support for iOS/Android devices.
