Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and effective on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to operating systems (Windows, macOS), applications, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity, LAN issues, and IP configurations.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and security checks on client machines.
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and system configurations accurately in the ticketing system.
- Educate users on best practices, software usage, and basic troubleshooting steps.
- Manage IT inventory, track assets, and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.
- Travel to various client locations within Al Rams and the broader Ras Al Khaimah area as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and knowledge base.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong understanding of common desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with hardware installation, repair, and maintenance.
