Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, networking devices) and software issues at various client locations within Dubai.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and network infrastructure components.
  • Perform routine system diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and technical incidents, escalating complex issues to senior IT personnel when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN problems.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control configurations.
  • Document all service activities, solutions, and configurations in the company's ticketing and knowledge base systems.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security and efficient system usage.
  • Manage inventory of IT assets, including tracking and procurement of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement new IT solutions and improve existing infrastructure.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in IT technical support, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified).

  • A valid UAE driving license is highly desirable for field visits.
