Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues at client locations within KIZAD.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve common operating system (Windows, macOS) and application (MS Office Suite) problems.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues and Wi-Fi configuration.
  • Set up and configure new user accounts, email services, and access permissions.
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations accurately in our ticketing system.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security and efficient use of technology.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues and learn advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Manage and track IT assets and inventory as required.
  • Adhere strictly to company and client IT policies and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (1 year minimum) in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Wi-Fi configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Valid UAE driving license and reliable transportation for field visits within KIZAD.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication).
  • Customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician).
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Knowledge of macOS and basic Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
