Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Biebrich, Wiesbaden. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for all technical inquiries, providing essential support to our employees across various departments. Your primary mission will be to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, resolving issues efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime and enhance user productivity. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other systems.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi and VPN problems.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all support requests, resolutions, and procedures in our ticketing system.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up IT equipment and providing initial technical guidance.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex technical projects and system improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Active Directory for user and group management.
- Strong understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications.
