Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to all resort staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and network devices.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi) and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
- Support hotel-specific applications and systems, including Point of Sale (POS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and software licenses.
- Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Respond to IT service requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure data backup procedures are followed and assist with data recovery efforts when necessary.
- Adhere to all IT security protocols and best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and software applications.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
