Career.zycto is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Operations Analyst to join our thriving Melbourne team. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation and optimal performance of our critical IT infrastructure and services. As an IT Operations Analyst, you’ll be the backbone of our daily technology environment, proactively monitoring systems, responding to incidents with precision, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operational processes. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver reliable and high-performing services to our internal and external stakeholders, safeguarding business continuity and driving efficiency.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, from server hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux) to intricate network components, virtualisation platforms, and cloud-based applications. Your day-to-day will involve a blend of reactive troubleshooting – diagnosing and resolving technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime and business impact – and proactive maintenance, including performing regular system checks, implementing security updates, and contributing to capacity planning and disaster recovery initiatives. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical colleagues and non-technical business units.

We foster a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged, and continuous learning is a given through access to training and certifications. If you’re passionate about technology, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and are eager to make a tangible impact on an organisation’s operational excellence, then this could be your next significant career step. Join us in our vibrant St Kilda Road office, where innovation meets operational integrity, and your expertise directly contributes to our strategic objectives, helping us maintain our competitive edge in a dynamic market. We’re excited to welcome an individual who is ready to grow with us and take ownership of critical IT functions.
