Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking an innovative IT Software Developer to join our client’s team at the Mount Whaleback Mine in Newman, Western Australia. This pivotal role offers a unique chance to apply software development expertise in a critical operational environment, directly enhancing the efficiency and innovation of one of the world’s largest open-cut iron ore mines. You will be crucial in designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust software solutions that optimize mining processes, improve data analytics, and ensure seamless integration across various operational systems. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong grasp of full-stack development, database management, and system architecture. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate complex business needs into scalable and maintainable software applications. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions and applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and web services (RESTful APIs).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
