Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Log, track, and prioritize support requests using our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi) and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
  • Support users with common applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and collaboration tools.
  • Assist in maintaining IT inventory, including tracking assets, licenses, and equipment.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in IT projects as needed, such as system upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives.
  • Adhere to IT security policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity and system security.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and efficient support experience for all users.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ or IT Fundamentals certification, or actively working towards one.

  • Basic knowledge of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with remote support tools.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a relevant IT-related course or degree.
