Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our thriving team in Somerset, Singapore. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all technical inquiries and issues, playing a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our IT systems and ensuring our employees have the tools they need to succeed. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems, including Active Directory and cloud platforms.
  • Respond to service requests and incidents through our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Assist with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and procurement of new equipment.
  • Document support procedures, solutions, and knowledge base articles to improve efficiency and self-service options.
  • Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and migrations as required, providing technical expertise and support.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience with macOS and/or Linux operating environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies and server administration.
  • Experience supporting VoIP telephony systems.
