Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN configurations.
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact using our ticketing system.
- Document technical solutions, procedures, and common issues in the knowledge base to facilitate self-service and team efficiency.
- Assist with IT asset management, including tracking inventory, managing equipment lifecycle, and coordinating repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements, offering insights and support.
- Conduct basic server maintenance and monitoring tasks as directed, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices, new system usage, and security awareness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an IT support role or similar technical position.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration (user management, Exchange Online).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
