Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of basic technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network components.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
- Document IT support requests, resolutions, and procedures in a ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Conduct routine system checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Educate users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as directed by senior staff.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
