In this crucial full-time role, you will serve as the frontline hero, ensuring the seamless operation of our essential IT infrastructure and providing critical technical assistance to our diverse and vibrant user base.

At Career.zycto, we firmly believe that robust and responsive IT support forms the indispensable backbone of any successful modern organization. As an IT Support Technician, your role extends far beyond merely ‘fixing computers’; you will be directly empowering our staff, minimizing disruptive downtime, and contributing significantly to our overall operational efficiency and continuous innovation. You will be instrumental in providing comprehensive first and second-level technical support, adeptly diagnosing and swiftly resolving a wide array of hardware, software, and network issues with precision and speed. From the initial setup of new workstations and the configuration of essential software applications to troubleshooting complex system glitches that emerge unexpectedly, your expertise and quick thinking will be absolutely pivotal in maintaining a consistently productive and utterly seamless working environment.

We are specifically looking for an individual who genuinely thrives on overcoming technical challenges, possesses exceptional diagnostic capabilities, and demonstrates a natural knack for clearly and patiently explaining intricate technical concepts to non-technical users. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and engaging, encompassing the installation and meticulous configuration of computer systems, network devices, and peripherals, the efficient management of user accounts, access permissions, and system resources, and the diligent performance of routine system maintenance tasks such as software updates, security patches, and critical data backups. Furthermore, you’ll play an integral role in documenting essential IT procedures and configurations, contributing valuable insights to the strategic deployment of new technologies, thereby helping us to remain at the forefront in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

This position offers a unique and invaluable opportunity to significantly expand and grow your technical skills across a broad spectrum of IT domains, ranging from comprehensive desktop support and printer management to fundamental network administration and the implementation of crucial cybersecurity best practices. If you are deeply passionate about providing outstanding technical assistance, eager to embrace continuous learning, and ready to make a tangible and positive impact within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking team, then Career.zycto is undoubtedly the place for you. Join us in our compelling mission to strategically leverage technology for enduring success and to consistently deliver an unparalleled user experience across all our Nairobi operations.
