Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues, primarily within the Molepolole branch.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for banking operations.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the network infrastructure.
  • Perform regular system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN connectivity and Wi-Fi access.
  • Document all support activities, resolutions, and configurations in the IT service management system.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff and external vendors for complex issues and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on new software or system functionalities.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network connectivity.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
