Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, and deploy new desktop, laptop, and mobile devices for end-users.
- Install and update operating systems, software applications, and drivers according to company standards.
- Perform initial setup and troubleshooting of network connectivity for newly deployed systems.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Assist in the preparation and imaging of new systems, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Provide basic technical support and guidance to users on newly deployed equipment and software.
- Document deployment procedures, configuration changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure the physical security and proper handling of IT equipment during deployment and relocation.
- Assist with decommissioning old hardware and ensure data sanitization in accordance with policy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) installation and configuration.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and assembly.
- Familiarity with standard office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
