Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware components including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and basic network issues, performing repairs or escalating to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including tracking hardware assignments, deployments, and disposals.
- Provide first and second-tier technical support to end-users, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the deployment of new software and operating system updates.
- Document technical procedures, solutions, and configurations clearly and comprehensively.
- Collaborate with team members on IT projects and system improvements.
- Ensure all IT systems comply with company security policies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common office applications.
- Basic knowledge of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
