Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Trainer to join our dedicated team in Hurstville, Sydney. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and update engaging IT training curriculum and materials based on industry best practices and learner needs.
- Deliver high-quality, interactive training sessions to diverse groups of learners, both in-person at our Hurstville facility and potentially virtually.
- Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer individualised support to ensure successful learning outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current IT trends, technologies, and certifications to ensure relevance of training content.
- Collaborate with the Career.zycto team to continuously improve training methodologies and program offerings.
- Manage training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and classroom setup.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to learners, helping them navigate career paths in the IT sector.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in an IT role (e.g., System Administration, Network Engineering, Software Development, Cybersecurity).
- Proven experience in delivering technical training or instruction to adults.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and office productivity suites.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt training styles to suit different learning preferences and paces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified, CCNA).
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
