Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Trainer to join our dedicated team in Hurstville, Sydney. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update engaging IT training curriculum and materials based on industry best practices and learner needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, interactive training sessions to diverse groups of learners, both in-person at our Hurstville facility and potentially virtually.
  • Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer individualised support to ensure successful learning outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current IT trends, technologies, and certifications to ensure relevance of training content.
  • Collaborate with the Career.zycto team to continuously improve training methodologies and program offerings.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and classroom setup.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to learners, helping them navigate career paths in the IT sector.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in an IT role (e.g., System Administration, Network Engineering, Software Development, Cybersecurity).
  • Proven experience in delivering technical training or instruction to adults.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and office productivity suites.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt training styles to suit different learning preferences and paces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified, CCNA).
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
