Job Description
Espace Maison is seeking a diligent and motivated Janitor to join our team in La Caverne, Vacoas-Phoenix. This vital role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of our retail premises, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and hygienic environment for all customers and staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently. You will play a crucial part in presenting a welcoming and professional image for our store, directly contributing to our operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves, counters, and fixtures.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report needs to management.
- Address immediate cleaning needs and spills promptly and safely.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as required, such as changing light bulbs or reporting repair needs.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Janitor or in a similar cleaning role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good physical condition and stamina, capable of lifting reasonable weights and standing for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
