Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks in all designated areas, including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, restrooms, and corridors.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms and other high-touch areas regularly throughout the day.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas, adhering to strict waste management protocols, especially for medical waste.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as required, ensuring they are free from dirt, spills, and debris.
- Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, windows, and other surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to hospital cleaning policies, health codes, and infection control procedures.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, patients, and visitors.
