You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of floor care tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various types of flooring surfaces. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Operate and maintain various floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, and wet vacuums.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards promptly.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Respond to spills and emergencies quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Flexible scheduling to meet operational needs and personal availability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial floor care.
- Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other heavy cleaning machinery.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a janitorial context.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
