Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, floors, and restocking supplies.
- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and glass surfaces.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly and safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisor when supplies are low.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
- Ensure all areas are secured upon completion of the shift.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a janitorial or cleaning role, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
