Geejam Hotel is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Janitorial Support Worker to join our dynamic team in Port Antonio, Portland. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces in guest rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated hotel spaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring all fixtures are sparkling and supplies are adequately stocked.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Clean and maintain floors, including stripping, waxing, and buffing as required.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring appropriate stock levels.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and brand standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and event setups/breakdowns as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by collaborating effectively with team members.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), pushing, and standing for extended periods.

- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning agents.

Preferred Qualifications

- Resident of Port Antonio or surrounding areas with reliable transportation.
