As a Java Developer at Career.zycto, you will be deeply involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions for new and existing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proficiency with Java 8+ and its ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs design and development.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
