Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in conceptualizing new jewelry collections and custom pieces through sketching and digital rendering.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush) to create 3D models of jewelry designs.
- Research current market trends, materials, and design innovations to inform future collections.
- Prepare design presentations and mood boards for internal review and client meetings.
- Collaborate with jewelers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and executed to the highest standards.
- Maintain organized design files and project documentation.
- Participate in design critiques and contribute fresh perspectives to creative challenges.
- Learn about various gemstones, metals, and their properties to make informed design decisions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in sketching and rendering design concepts by hand.
