Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and investigation into assigned news topics and develop original story ideas relevant to the Mauritian audience.
- Interview sources, gather facts, and verify information through multiple credible channels to ensure accuracy and impartiality.
- Write, edit, and produce compelling news reports, features, and analyses for television, radio, and digital platforms, adhering to journalistic standards and house style.
- Present live reports and conduct on-air interviews with professionalism and confidence when required.
- Operate and understand basic camera and audio equipment for field reporting as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with producers, editors, camera operators, and other team members to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of news content.

- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, legal requirements, and MBC's editorial policies.
