Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses under supervision.
  • Process and reconcile invoices, expense reports, and petty cash transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation, both physical and digital.
  • Support senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Perform data entry for various accounting transactions into the accounting system.
  • Assist in preparing payroll data and ensuring timely disbursement processes.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and identify/verify discrepancies.
  • Organize and archive financial documents securely for easy retrieval.
  • Respond to and resolve basic financial queries from internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and established accounting standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, general ledger).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive problem-solving aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications
