Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage all shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Assist in coordinating transportation schedules and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve minor delays.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through meticulous data entry and regular reconciliation against physical stock.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding logistics operations and status updates.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with stock checks, order picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Prepare reports on logistics activities, including shipment status, delivery performance, and inventory levels for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant local and international shipping laws.
- Resolve minor logistics issues or discrepancies under the guidance of senior staff, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating vehicle maintenance and fleet management activities if applicable to ensure operational readiness.
