Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Project Managers in the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist with on-site inspections and quality control to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Coordinate with various departments and teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and progress updates for stakeholders.
  • Learn and apply best practices in construction project management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a construction-related role (e.g., Project Coordinator, Site Engineer, Assistant Project Manager).
  • Basic understanding of construction principles, methods, and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.

  • CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
  • A full UK driving license.
