Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times, including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and cleaning kitchen equipment.
- Support the culinary team during service periods by ensuring all necessary tools and ingredients are readily available.
- Receive and store deliveries, checking items against invoices and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all training and safety guidelines.
- Assist with waste management and recycling initiatives within the kitchen.
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations meticulously.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative working environment, actively communicating with team members.
