Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables, fruits, and proteins.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are kept clean, sanitized, and organized according to health and safety standards.
- Support the cooking process by retrieving ingredients, mixing components, and performing basic cooking tasks as instructed.
- Properly store food items in designated areas, ensuring correct temperature and labeling to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries, checking for quality and quantity of products.
