Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, floors, walls, and food preparation areas, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Operate and maintain industrial dishwashing machinery, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans are cleaned, dried, and stored to a high standard.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste, food scraps, and recycling materials in accordance with established health and safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, and storage units regularly.
  • Assist with the general organization and tidiness of storage areas, pantry, and kitchen inventory, ensuring a clutter-free workspace.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP principles), reporting any potential hazards or maintenance issues immediately to management.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and inform management promptly when stock levels are low to ensure continuous operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a larger kitchen team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccably high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
