Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and sweeping/mopping floors.
- Support in receiving and storing kitchen supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and inventory management.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist with the plating and presentation of dishes as required.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management to ensure smooth operations.
