Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and stovetops.
- Ensure kitchen work surfaces, floors, and walls are clean and hygienic at all times.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Manage and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and organization of stock.
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor.
- Maintain an organized and tidy storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
