Key Responsibilities

  • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, work surfaces, storage areas, and waste disposal units.
  • Assist with the unloading and proper storage of food and supply deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
  • Manage waste disposal, including recycling and general rubbish, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and kept clean.
  • Support the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as peeling vegetables or washing produce.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen management immediately.
  • Ensure all cleaning products are stored safely and used correctly according to guidelines.
