Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are spotlessly clean and properly sanitized.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including floors, walls, storage areas, and waste disposal units.
- Assist with the proper storage and rotation of inventory, ensuring supplies are readily available and waste is minimized.
- Remove trash and recycling, ensuring designated areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Support the culinary team by keeping work areas tidy, restocking essential items, and assisting with basic prep tasks when required.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and refrigerators, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes hot or humid kitchen environment.
