Job Description

Career.zycto is on the lookout for a talented and meticulous Knowledge Base Editor to join our fully remote team. As a Knowledge Base Editor, you will be instrumental in creating, curating, and maintaining a comprehensive and accessible knowledge base that serves as the go-to resource for all product-related queries, best practices, and troubleshooting guides. Working from anywhere, you will collaborate closely with product managers, customer support, and engineering teams to identify content gaps, update existing articles, and develop new documentation that reflects product updates and evolving user needs. This role demands exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will be responsible for upholding our content style guide, ensuring consistency across all documentation, and continuously seeking ways to improve content findability and user engagement within our knowledge platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit clear, concise, and accurate content for our knowledge base, including articles, FAQs, and guides.
  • Collaborate with product development, customer support, and marketing teams to identify content needs and priorities.
  • Maintain and update existing knowledge base articles to ensure accuracy and relevance, reflecting product changes and new features.
  • Ensure all content adheres to established style guides, brand voice, and quality standards.
  • Optimize content for search engine discoverability (SEO) and user experience.
  • Analyze user feedback and knowledge base analytics to identify areas for improvement and content gaps.
  • Manage content lifecycle, from ideation and creation to review, publication, and archival.
  • Champion best practices in knowledge management and content organization across the company.
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback on content developed by other team members.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in technical writing, content creation, or knowledge management.
  • Strong editing and proofreading abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) or knowledge base platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
