Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis following established protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of experiments, results, and data.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas to maintain a sterile and safe environment.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and scientists on various projects and tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a Vocational Certificate in Laboratory Technology or Science is a plus.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently as well as part of a team.
