Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and reagents accurately according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate, clean, and maintain standard laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Perform routine experiments and tests under the supervision of senior researchers.
- Accurately record, document, and organize experimental data and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of experiments, ensuring the lab is tidy and well-stocked.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Contribute to the general upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate findings clearly.
Required Skills
- Basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
