Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process samples, reagents, and solutions with precision and accuracy.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
  • Record and analyze experimental data, maintaining detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist in the procurement and inventory management of laboratory supplies and consumables.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.
  • Contribute to the organization and tidiness of the lab environment.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report complex problems to senior staff.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge of general laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Proficiency in data recording and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
