Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses under supervision, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare reagents, media, and solutions accurately and efficiently for various research procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Collect, process, and manage samples, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and traceability.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup, data collection, and preliminary analysis.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
- Follow strict quality control procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and updates on ongoing tasks.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic and data recording.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols precisely.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and reporting).

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field.
