Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory experiments and tests following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare reagents, media, and samples accurately and efficiently for experimental use.
- Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Record experimental data, observations, and results meticulously in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup, data collection, and analysis.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, chemical handling procedures, and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and reagents, assisting with ordering and stocking as needed.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to senior staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project progress and challenges.
