Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and reagents according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and analyses, accurately recording observations and results.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setups and data collection.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware, equipment, and work areas.
- Document experimental procedures and results meticulously in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science) preferred.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently as well as part of a team.
