Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for various analytical tests according to established protocols and standards.
- Conduct routine laboratory experiments and tests under the supervision of senior researchers.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and databases.
- Assist senior scientists in the design and execution of research projects and methodology development.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, strictly adhering to safety guidelines and waste disposal procedures.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and reagents to ensure continuous operations.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions and presenting findings as required.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and perform basic preventive maintenance tasks.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
