Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples for various analytical tests according to established protocols and standards.
  • Conduct routine laboratory experiments and tests under the supervision of senior researchers.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy.
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and databases.
  • Assist senior scientists in the design and execution of research projects and methodology development.
  • Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, strictly adhering to safety guidelines and waste disposal procedures.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and reagents to ensure continuous operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions and presenting findings as required.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and perform basic preventive maintenance tasks.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for science and a proactive approach to learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
