Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior researchers in setting up and conducting experiments according to established protocols.
  • Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and media with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate various laboratory instruments and equipment (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers).
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
  • Perform routine laboratory tasks, including glassware washing, waste disposal, and inventory management of supplies.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, good laboratory practices (GLP), and quality control procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
  • Fundamental understanding of laboratory techniques and principles.
  • Proficiency in using basic laboratory equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in experimental work and data recording.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
