Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions with precision and accuracy.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring their optimal functionality and cleanliness.
- Accurately record, compile, and summarize experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Conduct literature reviews and assist in data interpretation under the guidance of senior scientists.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards (GLP/GCP), and environmental guidelines.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup, execution, and troubleshooting.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, receiving shipments, and organizing consumables.
- Perform routine lab maintenance, including cleaning glassware, sterilizing equipment, and proper waste disposal.
- Contribute to the upkeep of a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
Required Skills
- Fundamental knowledge of general laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols accurately.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data entry and documentation.
