Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses under the supervision of senior scientists.
- Accurately record, compile, and present experimental data, observations, and results using laboratory information systems and software.
- Perform calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, strictly adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including tracking supplies, ordering new materials, and ensuring proper storage.
- Assist in the development and optimization of new experimental procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on ongoing projects and contribute to scientific discussions.
- Document procedures, results, and findings in lab notebooks and electronic records with meticulous detail.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or a related scientific field.
- Fundamental understanding of basic laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data entry and report generation.
