Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our dynamic Research & Development team in May Pen, Clarendon. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions accurately and efficiently for experimental procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment such as pH meters, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers.
- Record, organize, and present experimental data meticulously, maintaining comprehensive lab notebooks and digital records.
- Strictly adhere to laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Assist senior scientists and researchers with experimental setup, execution, and data collection.
- Perform basic analytical tests and report results as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental outcomes and future research directions.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including tracking supplies and initiating reorder requests.
