Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and instruments for experiments and research projects.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, analyses, and experiments following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Accurately record, analyze, and interpret experimental data, maintaining detailed laboratory notebooks.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and reagents, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
- Assist senior researchers in conducting complex experiments and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and sterile techniques.
- Prepare samples and solutions, performing basic calculations and dilutions.
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste according to regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions and sharing observations.
Required Skills
- Basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
